Our world is digital. We aim to deliver a high-quality Computer Science curriculum, to equip students to become effective users of technology, to contribute to the rapidly changing digital world.

Our Digital, Technology and Business curriculum exposes students to a wide range of opportunities locally and nationally for a digitally skilled workforce and encourages them to establish positive working habits that will support them through their school life and beyond. Students will be given opportunities to engage with employer partners through a series of visits, speakers, clubs, and online platforms. We aim to provide students the opportunity to experience real life business scenarios out of lessons – guiding students to contribute to the life of the school and the community, by developing their skills and knowledge in Business and Enterprise for example, hosting business events to raise money for local charities, and developing partnerships with external providers that extend opportunities for learning such as Deloitte and HSBC. Additionally, the department arranges trips to Chester Zoo, Lanc么me, and Cadbury鈥檚 World. We take students annually to the Stock Market Challenge at Manchester Business School.
