The Educate Awards is the largest education awards in the North West, spanning Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester. The Communication Award considers how well schools in the North West have developed communication links with its pupils, parents, governors, local community and wider audiences, with a particular focus on measured and creative approaches.

Having recently been shortlisted for the work we do on our Website, Partnership News (school magazine) and Social Media collectively, we were invited to attend the Educate Awards 2019 ceremony at the stunning venue of Liverpool Cathedral on Friday 15th November 2019, as one of only three finalists.

Representatives from the school attended a ‘black tie’ evening, which began with a champagne reception and featured some fantastic entertainment from local schools. Topping off a wonderful evening, we were thoroughly delighted to accept the Communication Award, which was presented by Kim O’Brien, Executive Editor of and Founder of the .

We’d like to say a big thank you to Kim O’Brien and her team for putting on a fabulous event. Many congratulations to all of the finalists and to our whole school community for the great work that goes on behind the scenes to make these achievements possible.
