Insights into English and Related Subjects ( Published: 06/02/2023)
A number of our Year 12 students visited The University of Manchester, as part of a taster day to explore university life and future pathways.
The students had an amazing day; attending a lecture, seminar style workshops and a campus tour. They had the opportunity to meet with academics, as well as current students, to discuss higher education disciplines and other options they may not have previously considered. They were able to discover many different destinations that their A Level English studies could lead them into.
The students were a credit to the school and demonstrated open-mindedness, curiosity and ambition, as they took their first steps towards their futures beyond Whalley Range Sixth Form College.
