Holidays Abroad
We understand that many families wish to travel abroad for family, cultural, or heritage reasons. However, taking children out of school during term time can seriously impact their learning, wellbeing, and future opportunities.
By law, parents and carers must ensure children attend school regularly. Term-time holidays are not considered exceptional and are unlikely to be authorised.
If travel is unavoidable:
- Complete a Leave of Absence Request form (email attendance@wrhs1118.co.uk) or speak with the school鈥檚 attendance team
- Check the Foreign Office travel advice:
- Keep absences as short as possible
